Gilda's Club hosts a laugh fest for charity

The Associate Board of Gilda's Club of Chicago hosted its 13th annual "Night of a Thousand Noogies" benefit Oct. 15 at Park West. Members of The Second City performed their signature sketch comedy and improv with emcee T.J. Shanoff as he interviewed notable Chicagoans onstage. The event raised funds for Gilda's Club, a nonprofit that provides free cancer support for anyone affected by the disease.

A captivating runway show featuring local celebrities and women wearing the hottest trends for fall 2016 set the tone for the much-anticipated Day on the Terrace at the Peninsula Hotel. The all-women philanthropy raised funds for their various projects serving children, family services, education, and the arts. After the fashion show, the more than 350 guests sat down for lunch and to enjoy the perfect day.
