St. Francis high School (Wheaton) Students Present "Noises Off"

On November 17, 18 and 19, St. Francis High School (Wheaton) theatre students will perform, "Noises Off." The production, written by Michael Frayn, is a humorous play within a play from the back-stage perspective of rehearsal, the actors, and eventually, the live performance.

Fairs & fests: Ready your costume for suburban Halloween happenings

Morton Arboretum's Fall Color Festival and Boo Breakfast: 7 a.m. to sunset daily through Monday, Oct. 31, at the Morton Arboretum, 4100 Route 53, Lisle. Scarecrow Trail and special events. Trick or Trees from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the children's garden includes games, fall crafts, tree seeds to take home, and small pumpkins to purchase and paint. Boo Breakfast: 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Includes visits from favorite characters. Costumes encouraged. Advanced registration required for the breakfast. Grandparents, special people join St. Mary's students

St. Mary's Catholic Community School in Crown Point had a packed house for its annual "Grandparents and Special Persons Day" on Oct. 13. They got such a fantastic turnout that they have to divide the program into two sessions. Everyone loved the band so much that it ran over by almost 10 minutes....

A dazzling 36th Diwali Gala Banquet and Annual Meeting of Indian American Medical Association of Illinois

Chicago IL: Indian American Medical Association of Illinois (IAMA-IL) celebrated a very special 36th Annual Meeting and Gala Banquet on October 15th, 2016 at the Meadows Club Grand Ball Room at the Rolling Meadows. Despite number of other events of Diwali Festivities in Chicago, the event was well attended by many members and guests.
